空氣污染致每年550萬人早死,多數是中國人
據《UBC》報導,12日在華盛頓舉行的「美國科學促進會」(AAAS)會議上,各國專家依據2013年的數據指出,全球每年有超過550萬人因空氣污染而喪命,其中超過一半發生在中國與印度兩國,在中國每年因空氣污染而早死的人數達到160萬人,印度則是130萬人。如今年2月,北京與新德里的細懸浮微粒指數經常高達300微克/每立方公尺,相當於WHO標準的12倍。 依照世界衛生組織(WHO)制訂的空氣污染標準,空氣中的固體與液體細懸浮微粒(PM2.5)不宜超過25微克/每立方公尺。但有外媒報導指出,全球超過85%的人口都居住在空汙超標的地區,尤其是中國、印度兩國就占了全球每年空汙死亡人數的55%。 專家們也提到,近50年來北美、西歐及日本在空氣污染問題上已有巨大改善,如開發出更環保的燃料和發動機,並減少煤炭的使用量。 加拿大英屬哥倫比亞大學(UBC)人口與大眾健康學院的布勞爾教授表示,目前空汙不只是全球第4高的死亡風險因子(前3名分別為高血壓、不當飲食習慣與吸菸),同時也是致死率最高的致病環境因子。 http://hkjam.com/?p=125 http://hkjam.com/?p=125
