戰爭之諭

自Ian Morris的“War! What Is It Good For?: Conflict and the Progress of Civilization from Primates to Robots，簡體中譯《战争:从类人猿到机器人,文明的冲突和演变》”（似未能突顯作者原意）吸引了我以來。耶魯大學法學院的James Q. Whitman這本《戰爭之諭_“The Verdict of Battle: The Law of Victory and the Making of Modern War”》更是不可不看的一本書。前者從戰爭為文明帶來的衝擊而促成文明的「進步」來看戰爭，後者則告介世人以更高道德命令之名義，來重塑世界的那些毫无法律界限的戰爭的禍害……
